“Donec perficiam”

Dra. Estela Lladó-Carbó

To speak of Neurotoc is to speak of commitment, medical excellence, and leadership in neurophysiology. Our story begins with the vision of Dr. Estela Lladó-Carbó, a physician specializing in clinical neurophysiology, whose career has marked a turning point in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) in Spain.

  • International Fellow in IONM at St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital in New York.
  • A pioneer in the implementation of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) techniques in the neurosurgery departments of Sant Pau Hospital and Mutua de Terrassa Hospital.

History of Neurotoc

2007 – International training in IONM
  • In the absence of regulated training in Spain, Dr. Lladó-Carbó completed a 3-month fellowship in intraoperative neuromonitoring at St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital (New York), where she subsequently completed a 2-year fellowship at the same institution.
2008-2010 – Advanced clinical application

Upon her return to Barcelona:

• Apply the knowledge acquired at the Hospital de Santa Creu i Sant Pau.

2011Founding of Neurotoc

Dr. Lladó-Carbó together with the economist
Daniel Muigg founds Neurotoc, S.L.

Nace un servicio especializado en monitorización neurofisiológica intraoperatoria, basado en:
