Education in Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring
At Neurotoc, we aim to serve as a platform for neurophysiologists with basic or advanced knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring. Our goal is to provide them with further knowledge, experience, scientific research, and practical experience in the operating room, ultimately leading to a high level of professionalism across various surgical specialties.
The training consists of two modules:
Theoretical education and practical modules.

Education specialists
Since our founding in 2011, at Neurotoc we have consolidated our position as a benchmark in Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (INM), collaborating with more than 40 clinics and hospitals throughout Spain.
The use of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring allows:
- Preventing irreversible neurological damage by detecting alterations in real time.
- Optimize surgical outcomes in high-precision procedures.
- Reduce the risk of postoperative neurological deficits and long-term complications.
- To reduce hospitalization and recovery time, improving healthcare efficiency.
Theoretical education
From our point of view, it is important to reinforce the theoretical concepts and implement them in the operating room with the support and continuous advice of our teaching team.
Basic training
Advanced training

Advanced Module 1 — Indications and planning
Advanced level · Clinical application
Absolute and relative indications for neurophysiological monitoring.
Advanced Module 2 — Case studies and clinical application
Advanced level · Real cases
Application of theoretical concepts to real cases, intraoperative planning and discussion.

Advanced Module 3 — Protocols, interpretation and communication
Advanced level · Protocols and troubleshooting
Creation of individualized monitoring protocols, troubleshooting, and interpretation of significant changes. Effective communication with the surgical team.
Advanced Module 4 — Clinical Correlation and Reporting
Advanced level · Professional practice
Correlation of neurophysiological findings with clinical evolution, preparation of reports and consolidation of good professional practices.

Practice Modules
To gain maximum experience in the operating room, we offer participation in practical training modules, accompanied by our team of highly specialized neurophysiologists in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring in the operating room.
